



Roland C. Cafaro, an AV rated attorney, is a 1988 graduate of Creighton University where he earned a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Biology and a 1991 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Law. Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Cafaro was a shareholder at the Milwaukee law firm of Halling & Cayo, S.C., and prior to that served as a member of the trial counsel team for EBI Companies and Royal & SunAlliance, lastly serving in the role as Managing Trial Attorney for the state of Wisconsin. He has served on the State Bar of Wisconsin Professionalism and Lawyer Dispute Resolution Committees and co-authored the State Bar Lawyer Dispute Resolution Program. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Bar Association. Mr. Cafaro has lectured on behalf of The State Bar of Wisconsin, The University of Wisconsin School of Law, PESI, NBI, Wisconsin Safety Council, and numerous employer and trade groups throughout Wisconsin.
Sean M. Spencer, attorney, is a 1996 graduate of Lawrence University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a 2001 graduate of Marquette University Law School. Prior to joining Cafaro Law Offices, Mr. Spencer similarly practiced worker's compensation litigation at Halling & Cayo, S.C., and Royal & SunAlliance. Mr. Spencer is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Association of Worker's Compensation Attorneys.
Jennifer L. Mauer, paralegal, has a long history of insurance claims administration experience since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1987. Prior to joining Cafaro Law Offices, Ms. Mauer worked as a liability claims adjuster for CNA Insurance, as a worker's compensation claims adjuster at EBI Companies and Royal & SunAlliance, and as a worker's compensation paralegal at Halling & Cayo, S.C.
Lisé D. Hierseman, paralegal, has nearly 20 years of experience as a legal assistant and civil litigation paralegal. Prior to joining Cafaro Law Offices, Ms. Hierseman worked for numerous law firms throughout southeastern Wisconsin. While new to the field of worker's compensation, she brings a wealth of valued civil litigation experience to her paralegal position.
